Description: The Epilepsy Center of Excellence and the Employee Education System are proud to announce a series of audio conferences providing education and training to VA patients and caregivers to improve the health and well-being of Veteran patients with epilepsy and other seizure disorders.
Outcome Objectives:
1. Identify what is a seizure and what is epilepsy, and how they differ.
2. Identify the different types of seizures.
3. Identify what causes seizures and how to respond when an individual has a seizure.
4. Understand when to seek treatment of epilepsy and seizures from a healthcare provider.
