Team Pat will be walking in Sharon's Ride Run Walk for the 3rd year. Four years ago, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. At first it set me back a lot but then I realized there were so many people with epilepsy who suffered much more than me. Through Team Pat, I hope to help make young kids who have seizures everyday happier and also help fund research. Maybe someday, we can all say "WE HAD EPILEPSY." Right now, 1 out of 26 people will develop epilepsy. That is an astonishing number. Most of you know I am a swimmer at Loyola Maryland University.
