Aeisha Shameka Lewis passed away unexpectedly at her Hartford home on Saturday August 8th, 2020. She attended & graduated from Bristol Central High School in 2007. She immediately began her undergrad studies at the University of Connecticut in the fall. After double majoring, in 2011, she graduated & received her bachelor's degree in Italian Studies, as well as Psychology, and began her graduate studies at CCSU in New Britain. In 2014 she received her master's degree in social work and worked as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with CHR in Hartford since 2015. That year, she was also diagnosed with epilepsy after unknowingly suffering from nocturnal seizures for almost 10 years. She didn't let this diagnosis slow her down, and worked hard to maintain her young life with the condition. Aeisha's love of Italy began in middle school when she took Italian I. She became fluent in Italian and had the chance to visit Italy in 2013. In her free time, Aeisha enjoyed YouTube instructional painting, making crafts for use around her house, and enjoying sleepovers with her nieces and nephew.
We walk for Sha. Our beloved daughter, sister, auntie, niece, & friend.
