Anne has a rare chromosomal abnormality, which likely caused a rare neurological condition called, "polymicrogyria," or "PMG." Unfortunately, people with PMG, like Anne, often develop seizure disorders. Anne started having identifiable seizures shortly before she turned 2 years old, and we became all too familiar with ambulance rides, emergency medications, EEGs, and emergency rooms. However, she has never let her seizures stop her from living her best life, despite temporary setbacks. She has a zest for life and loves absolutely everyone. She also loves to make people smile. Please help support Team Anne so we can find a way to end epilepsy and other life-threatening seizure disorders. It would be wonderful if those with epilepsy could live their lives without having to worry about facing seizures.
