Each advocacy day participant needs to schedule an appointment with their local legislator between 1:00-3:00 pm on March 7th. Once you register, we will send you additional information on how to schedule a meeting.
Here is a link where you can find your local legislator:
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT
During the advocacy training, you will learn how to share your story with your legislator. We will provide you with a packet of information with the epilepsy community’s policy priorities to leave behind for each legislator.
We also encourage you to write your story to share but limit it to 1 page. After the training, we will break into groups for the afternoon meetings with legislators.
Please contact Michael Finley, CT Government Relations, at email@example.com with any questions.
